On December 18, Darem partnered up with the two non-profit organizations Semple’s Path and Bringing Happiness to deliver Christmas gifts to 40 children of families in need. This small christmas celebration took place in Decatur, GA. The families, and at-need neighbors, stopped by to grab lunch, hang out, and collect presents for their children.
Similar to Darem, Semple’s Path and Bringing Happiness strive to impact people in need through different goals. Semple’s Path not only provides survivors of domestic violence with transitional housing but also guides them in their paths to self-sufficiency. Bringing Happiness, on the other hand, helps secure essential items for disadvantaged and low income elderly homes, orphanages and children sports academies.
The event was filled with many smiles and even some tears of joy. Thanks to our amazing partners and our donors, we were able to bring joy to those who need it most, especially during the holiday season. Our presence meant that these families can rest a little easier this season knowing their children will have a present to open.
